Living and working in Suffolk, creating vibrant still life’s that celebrate the uplifting presence of flowers and fruit. Inspired by the Scottish Colourists, aiming to bring an contemporary energy to the genre, pairing traditional blooms with bowls ceramics, textiles, and patterns-rich surfaces to create works full of joy, colour and movement.

Alongside my painting practice, I lecturer in Graphic Design, and this instinct for composition is evident in my work. Confident use of colour and pattern balances exuberance with clarity, producing paintings that feel both playful and assured. Rich in layering, bold in scale and immersive in effect, my paintings reflect a deepening visual language furthmore a growing in confidence.
